SISM Curriculum

SISM will be offering the Cambridge Curriculum for the lower and upper secondary from the targeted year in 2023.


The lower secondary refers to Key Stage 3:

Year 7 to Year 9 (age 11 to 15).


The upper secondary refers to Key Stage 4:

Year 10 to Year 11 (age 14 to 17).


IGCSE examination preparations are carried out during Cambridge Upper Secondary.

Pre-University programs are also available at SISM (Year 12 – 13). We will be offering the International Baccalaureate Programme and the Cambridge International A levels upon approval as mentioned earlier.

Cambridge Lower Secondary provides a clear path as they progress through the Cambridge Pathway in an age-appropriate manner.


The broad and balanced education will help young learners to thrive throughout their schooling, work and life. At SISM we will provide subjects to young learners with ample opportunities to develop their creativity, skills, and wellbeing in a variety of ways.

14 - 17 years old

Cambridge Upper Secondary is designed to develop creative thinking skills, inquiry mindsets, and problem-solving skills.


There are six subject groups with several subjects to choose from and students can take any number of subjects (min 6) to receive the IGCSE certificate.


The wide range of subjects available also aim to develop learners' knowledge and in-depth understanding in subject content across different disciplines.

16 - 19 years old

To maximize their chances of advancement to the top universities, students at SISM can choose ​between the A Level or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) in Year 12 to 13. ​Both programs hold a high level of respect and recognition with higher education institutions ​around the world.


A Level is ideal for students who have a clear idea of which subjects they excel in and are determine ​to pursue certain careers based on their strengths. In addition, the IB curriculum teaches students to ​be outward-facing and culturally aware, so they are well prepared as global citizens.
